There will be plenty of time to browse the interesting little shops. You may like to purchase cheese at Little Creek Cheese Shop or maybe browse Central Coast Wood Turners. For those of you with a sweet tooth you may like Luka Chocolate or Udderly Sweet Gelato & Lollies. Have a look at the handmade candles, homewares and gift shop. We then continue on to Manly where we will have time to settle in to our accommodation and freshen up in time for dinner.

Accommodation: 2 nights at Travelodge Hotel Manly Warringah Sydney. Morning tea/lunch at own expense. Dinner at Manly Leagues Club.

Day 2: North Head and Night Time Thrills

Today we discover why spectacular North Head is the most historic icon of Sydney Harbour. We spend the morning delving into some fascinating WWII history. We walk in the footsteps of soldiers who protected our shores both above and below ground.

On our guided tour, we learn about how North Fort was a crucial part of Sydney’s coastal defence system as we explore the visitors centre and some of the underground tunnels preserved for visitors. This is sure to be a fascinating tour.

After our interesting morning we will then head to the Manly Corso where you can purchase lunch and have a look around at your own leisure. Ask our coach captain or guide for suggestions if you need any help or information. Our coach will return later in the afternoon to return you to our accommodation where you will have time to relax and freshen up before the evening’s thrill.

Back at North Head, which is also one of Australia’s most haunted sites, we arrive at the Quarantine Station where we will embark on a wonderful night of thrills and excitement. First we dine at the Boiler House Restaurant and as darkness descends we make our way to the Quarantine Station where our ghost tour will begin.

Breakfast at hotel. Dinner at the Boiler House Restaurant at the Q Station. Lunch at own arrangement and cost.

Day 3: North Sydney Sights and Homeward Bound

After our exciting evening we enjoy a relaxing morning where we take a tour around Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Here we will take in the spectacular sights of Sydney’s beaches with a stop at a picturesque location for morning tea. Following our tour we will make our way back home to Tuncurry.
