Rooted in a deep commitment to providing a sanctuary for the world’s most endangered and captivating species, The Hunter Valley Wildlife Park is a home to a remarkable array of over 200 animals and has now evolved to be one of Australia’s most diverse collections of rare and endangered species from across the globe, including binturongs, lions, giraffes, rare birdlife, Australian native animals and more. Morning tea will be provided on the picnic grounds before freetime can be enjoyed wandering through the Park or joining the zoo keepers for animal demonstrations and talks. Lunch today will be spent at Harrigan’s Irish Pub before more freetime can be enjoyed at the Hunter Valley Gardens Shopping Village. Here you’ll discover a range of clothing stores, jewellers, gift shops and more, alongside a range of dining options as well as a cellar door and craft distillery.
