Welcome to our 3 day Yulefest Celebration. Every winter, Yulefest is celebrated in the Blue Mountains, with many venues offering traditional Christmas style celebrations. Australia’s first ever Yulefest was held in the Mountains at Hotel Mountain Heritage, 43 years ago. Today, it now involves lots of their hotels and restaurants throughout the Blue Mountains. So while the cold winds blow and the occasional snow falls, experience warm ‘Mountains’ hospitality, log fires, Christmas fare, singalongs and perhaps even Santa. The Blue Mountains is truly a ‘Winter Wonderland’
Staying at the historic Carrington Hotel in Katoomba, we will step into an era of elegance and refinement at The Grand Dining Room, beautifully restored to its Victorian grandeur. With carols around the piano, crackling fireplaces and a belly warming festive feast, which includes a 4 course Yulefest dinner. Its Sounding a lot like Christmas – in July! Day 2 will include free time in Blackheath and Leura with a memorable Hightea at the Hydro Majestic. Day 3 will end a magical Christmas in July event with a Christmas Lunch on board the luxurious floating Oyster and wine bar vessel with seafood, cold meats and salads on a 3 hr Hawkesbury River cruise.
